The first Camp Terrapin Festival is the continuation of the Field Trip Festival held at Vasa Park in South Elgin in 2010 and 2011. The festival is a celebration of the music and culture that surrounded the Grateful Dead. The festival features prominent members of the Grateful Dead extended family performing the music of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band. The Fest also features a varied selection of the finest bands in the jam scene with a diverse and varied lineup of other bands.
This year the festival will be held at Stonehouse Park in Earlville, IL on August 23 -26.
